Aimble is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) drug development company founded by three Physics doctors at Seoul National University. Aimble's structural-based new drug development platform learns molecular dynamics and quantum calculation, unlike existing AI companies. While most of them are "top-down" methods that determine the suitability of drugs by learning experimental data, Aimble takes "bottom-up" method that derives drug candidates by learning the physical and chemical properties of compounds.
Aimble은 서울대 물리학 박사 3명이 뭉쳐 설립한 인공지능(AI) 신약개발 기업이다. 기존의 AI 기업과 달리 분자동력학과 양자계산을 학습시킨 ‘구조기반 신약개발 플랫폼’인 Aimble은 실험데이터를 학습시켜 약물의 적합성을 판단하는 ‘탑다운(top-down)’ 방식인 기존 기업들과 달리, 화합물의 물리, 화학적 특성을 학습시켜 약물 후보물질을 도출하는 ‘바텀업(bottom-up)’방식을 채용하고 있다.
